During a meeting of the Literature Club, four club members—as well as their faculty advisor’s niece—suddenly find themselves imbued with supernatural powers. Now able to create black flames, resident Chuunibyou Jurai Endou is most pleased with his new abilities; Unfortunately, his own work is only for show and unable to achieve anything worthwhile. Furthermore, he is completely outmatched by those around him: fellow club member Tomoyo Kanzaki manipulates time, Jurai’s childhood friend Hatoko Kushikawa has control over the five elements, club president Sayumi Takanashi can repair both inanimate objects and living things, and his mentor’s niece Chifuyu Himeki is able to create objects out of thin air. Although the mystery still hangs over why he received these powers, little has changed for the Literature Club.
