Amatsuyu “Jouro” Kisaragi is a completely average second-year high school student who has two dates in one weekend – on Saturday with student council president Sakura “Cosmos” Akino, then on Sunday with his childhood friend Aoi “Himawari” Hinata. Unfortunately for Zoro, both girls profess their love for his best friend Taiyou “Sun-chan” Oga, the ace of the baseball team. Accepting each of their requests for advice and guidance, he is now responsible for helping two girls win over the same guy. Unbeknownst to his friends, Zoro’s friendly and jaded image is a ploy designed to present himself as the clueless protagonist of a textbook romantic comedy.

A scheming under his pleasant mask, he makes the best of this unexpected turn of events with a new plan: to lure Sun-chan to either Cosmos or Himawari and take the other as his prize. But Jauro’s last effort is threatened by the gloomy, four-eyed Sumireko “Pansy” Sanshokuin, who not only surprises Jauro with her knowledge of his secret personality, but also the true self he hid for so long.
