Medaka Kurokami is, in the true sense of the word, perfect. Beautiful, intelligent and athletic, Medaka’s dream is to make others happy. So when she runs for student council president at the prestigious Hakoniwa Academy, winning the election with 98% of the vote is entirely predictable. The very first thing the noisy new president does is set up the “Medaka Box”, a suggestion box for students to submit any kind of request for help.
Along with the cynical Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, his childhood friend who was armed to help, Medaka responds to these requests at a ridiculous pace. For each job she completes, she flowers the student council room, aiming to fill the whole school. However, the two are about to discover that helping others can be much harder than they realize as they begin to uncover a devastating plan centered on the academy and even Medaka herself!
