Shortly after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, a major earthquake hits Japan. Amidst the chaos, siblings Ayumu and Gou of the Mutou household begin fleeing the city with their family of four.
The sinking Japanese archipelagos, however, relentlessly pursue the family.
