Energy-conservative high school student Houtarou Oreki ends up with more than he bargained for when he signs up for the Classics Club at his sister’s behest – especially when he learns how deep the club’s history really is. Unfortunately, Oreki is drawn into an investigation related to a 45-year-old mystery that surrounds the clubroom.

Along with his fellow club members, the wise Satoshi Fukube, the stern but gentle Mayaka Ibara, and the always-curious Eru Chitanda, Oreki must combat deadlines and information constraints with resources and hidden talents, not only to discover the suppressed truth. Underneath the dust of the works they created years ago, but also other minor matters as well.
