Gintama
The Amanto, aliens from outer space, have invaded Earth and taken over feudal Japan. As a result, a ban on swords has been established and Japan’s samurai are treated with contempt as a result.
However, one man, Gintoki Sakata, still possesses the heart of the samurai, though due to his love of sweets and yorozuya work, one would not expect it. Shinpachi Shimura, a boy with glasses and a strong heart, Kagura with his umbrella and seemingly bottomless stomach, and Sadaharu, their oversized pet dog, accompany him on his versatile job. Of course, these odd jobs aren’t always straightforward, as they often run into the police, ragtag rebels, and assassins, often leading to humorous but unfortunate consequences.
