When a shape-shifting demon with a thirst for human flesh, known as “Yuma”, arrives in Raki’s village, a lonely woman with silver eyes comes to town with only a sword on her back. He is a “Claymore”, being created as half-human and half-Yuma for the express purpose of warding off these demons. After Raki’s family is killed, Claymore saves her life, but is later evicted from her home. With nowhere else to go, Raki finds Claymore, known as Claire, and decides to follow her on her journey. As the pair travel from city to city, defeating Yuma along the way, more about Claire’s organization and that of her fellow warriors comes to light.
