Some people find religion all of a sudden, but for 16-year-old Kusanagi Godou, it’s actually old-timey religion that found her! As a result of defeating the God of War in mortal combat, Godou is stuck with the unwanted position of Campione!, or God Slayer, whose duty it is to fight the heretic gods whenever they try to muscle in on the local turf. Not only does this have the potential to be Godoo roadkill on Highway to Heaven, but it’s also a feat that comes with a host of other problems.
Like how to deal with the fact that her “enhanced status” is attracting a hoard of overly-worshipping female followers. After all, they’re just there to aid him in his god-like duties, right?
