In 1972, Misaki, a popular student in class 3-3 at Yomiyama North Middle School, died during the school year. Since then, Yomiyama City has been shrouded in a creepy atmosphere, dark secrets hidden deep within. Twenty-six years later, 15-year-old Kouichi Sakakibara transfers to Class 3-3 at Yomiyama North and soon discovers that a strange, dark mood seems to be hanging over all of the students.
He also finds himself attracted to the mysterious eye patch-wearing student Mei Misaki; however, the rest of the class and the teachers seem to treat her as if she doesn’t exist. Paying no heed to everyone’s warnings, including Mei herself, Kouichi begins to grow closer not only to her, but also to the truth behind the horrific phenomenon plaguing Yomiyama North Class 3-3. Another follows Kouichi, Mei and their classmates as they are drawn into the enigma surrounding a series of inevitable and tragic events, but unraveling the horror of Yomiyama may well cost them the ultimate price.
