The angel beats!
Otonashi wakes up to find he is dead. A gun girl named Yuri explains that they are in the afterlife, and Otonashi realizes that the only thing he remembers about himself is her name. Yuri tells her that she leads the Shinda Sekai Sensen (Afterlife Battlefront) and is waging war on a girl named Tenshi.
Unable to believe Yuri’s claims that Tenshi is evil, Otonashi tries to talk to him, but the encounter doesn’t go as he planned. Otonashi decides to join the SSS and fight Tenshi, but he finds himself strangely attracted to her. While trying to regain his memories and understand Tenshi, he gradually pierces the mysteries of the afterlife. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
