The Great War finally came to an end after a long four-year struggle; Fractured in two, the continent of Telesis slowly began to flourish once again. Violet Evergarden was trapped in the bloodline, a young girl who was raised for the sole purpose of slashing enemy lines. Hospitalized and disabled in a bloody skirmish during the final stages of the war, she was left with only the words of the man she held dearest, but no understanding of their meaning.
After recovering from her wounds, Violet begins a new life working at CH Postal Services after a falling out with her new intended foster family. There, she by pure chance witnesses the workings of an “auto memory doll” that turns people’s thoughts and feelings into words on paper. Inspired by the notion, Violet begins working as an auto memory doll, a business that will lead her on an adventure that will reshape the lives of her clients and hopefully lead to self-discovery.
